Fiberglass Tissue

Fiberglass Tissue

General Description

Dry laid glass tissue is used as material for the production of preforms. It is compatible with polyesther, vinylesther, epoxy and polyurethane resins. The preforming of glass veil is an industrial and “clean” process carried out between a mould and a counter mould.
It requires little manual intervention and enables to optimize costs and performances in the moulding by injection (RTM and SRIM) and by compression when veil is used either alone or in association with other reinforcements.

Properties

  •  High and even deformability when heated
  •  Good stability of preforms
  •  Easy impregnation during moulding
  •  Chemically inert and non toxic
  •  Absolute rot proof
  • Excellent resistance to UV light
